Touch Bionics, the Scottish prosthetic technology group, is set for “a major period of expansion” after securing £2.5 million in new investment. The group, whose artificial hands have helped rehabilitate wounded service personnel in the UK and overseas, has won support from Scotland’s biggest provider of angel funding Archangels and matching funding from the Scottish Venture Fund.
