‘Exceptional’ drug to battle superbugs unveiled by Scottish firm

A GROUNDBREAKING antibiotic treatment to tackle hospital superbugs is being developed by Scottish scientists.
Researchers at Glasgow-based firm MGB Biopharma have created a form of treatment which they believe is far more effective at treating both MRSA and C Clostridium difficile (C Diff) than current drugs used to battle the infections, which are often picked up by patients while in hospital.
