Archangels’ David Ovens recalls winning Lead Syndicate of the Year at the 2018 UKBAA Angel Investment Awards
UKBAA has been conducting a series of interviews with past UKBAA Angel Investment Award winners and recently caught up with David Ovens, Joint Managing Director of Archangels.
Archangels were the recipient of the Lead Syndicate of the Year award in 2018. Remembering back to the moment we won, David said:
“The UK is a thriving ecosystem in terms of angel investing, so when you find out that you’ve won in the context of that ecosystem, it’s recognition that you must be doing something right. We were delighted when we found out that we’d won.”
“The UK leads the world in angel investing and to be part of such a thriving ecosystem is a privilege. On top of that, to be recognised by your peers as as a leader in your category is something to cherish.”
