Tim Allan has been awarded a CBE

We are all extremely proud of Archangel Board member, Tim Allan, who was awarded a Commander of the Order of the British Empire on the Queen’s New Years Honours list 2022. Tim has been recognised for services to Business, Charity and the Arts.

Tim has been a member of Archangels since 2017 and joined our Board in 2019. He is a private equity and property entrepreneur with many philanthropic interests including the Chair of the V&A Dundee. He is a founder and director of Motor Fuel Group, the largest independent fuel retailer in the UK. He is also President of the Scottish Chambers of Commerce.

Commenting on his Honour on LinkedIn, Tim Allan, said:

“It really goes without saying that I am delighted, not for me but for the recognition of the wonderful organisations and teams with whom I have the pleasure of working. The Scottish Chambers of Commerce, the V&A Dundee, the University of St. Andrews and the outstanding Archangels. This award is a wonderful way to end the year but only acts as a spur to further action in the areas of business, charity and the arts in the citation.”
