Most years we are able to offer a few 1 week summer internships. During their time with Archangels, our interns will gain an insight into the activities which support angel investing.
This covers areas such as new investment selection, due diligence, the legal process around investments and oversight of the companies in the portfolio.
Activities may include:
Attendance at meetings including Archangels Board, our New Deals Committee and possibly selected portfolio company meetings.
Gaining an understanding of the processes around angel investing:
- Legal documentation
- Fundraising
- Governance and oversight of the companies once they have received an investment
- The steps in an exit
We may ask you do complete a short project to research a new investment opportunity, or help us with some data analysis of our market.
Target group: Undergraduates who are about to start their final year of study at university. We will prioritise students with an interest in finance, investment and entrepreneurship. We want to help people where we can fill a gap in their experience.
Duration: 1 week
Hours: Up to 6 per day. 10:00am to 4pm or as advised, depending on activities
Rate: £9.50 / hr
