Archangels first invested in Livingston-based SolCom Systems in 1993. The company was sold to a US NASDAQ listed company, MicroFrame Inc in 1999. The enlarged group became known as ION Networks Inc.
SolCom was a developer and manufacturer of software and hardware solutions for monitoring and managing mission critical voice, data, video and environmental applications and networking systems.
ION Networks predicted the demand for secure integrated network monitoring and management solutions would increase and has evolved to serve the market with secure network management solutions, providing an integrated end-to-end solution, offering businesses secure, web-based application performance and network management/monitoring.
