NCTech and Top Gear USA have captured the Rubicon Trail in 360′, in one of Google’s largest independent projects. The iSTAR® camera was put to the test, filming in extreme conditions on what is considered to be one of the World’s toughest off road trails.
The iSTAR® remained exposed throughout the 22 miles, capturing 1000s of images in full 360 degrees and at 50 megapixel resolution including on-board GPS positioning and horizon levelling.
